Minebea Intec: Eight awards at the Automation Inside Awards

The year 2019 ends with a great success: In December, Minebea Intec successfully prevailed over the competition in the Readers' Choice Awards of the international online platform "Automation Inside": A total of eight awards went to the global supplier of industrial weighing and inspection technologies. Not only the manufacturer's proven products were convincing, but also the company itself received a valuable award.

The annual Readers' Choice Awards of the online platform "Automation Inside" is an established competition in which readers vote for the best companies and products related to automation in a total of 18 categories. After last year Minebea Intec took third place in the "Best Automation Company" vote, this year the company was finally able to secure the hotly contested top spot.

However, it wasn't just the company itself that convinced the readers, but also its products: In addition to the established weighing and inspection solutions, some of the manufacturer's new products were also represented among the winners: The Essentus checkweigher, launched at the beginning of the year, secured the title of "Best Packaging System“. With this award, the product proves that the company's focus on putting customer needs first was also registered by the voters. The four different models of the checkweigher reflect the idea of having the ideal solution for every application: On the one hand, there is a model for each light or heavy products. On the other, there is a distinction between the efficiency or performance model: The Essentus efficiency was developed to reliably master basic weighing tasks in dynamic checkweighing. In addition to the functions of the Essentus efficiency, the Essentus performance offers a significant plus in features. The user gets exactly the checkweigher that his application requires.

"The feedback from customers has already been positive at our trade fair presentations worldwide. The new product was particularly well received at FachPack in Germany and PPMA in England. In the new year, we now want to build on the awards and score with more new products. We will be able to offer some innovations, especially in the area of industrial scales, but also foreign object detection."reports Willy-Sebastian Metzger, responsible for strategy and marketing at Minebea Intec, who sees good chances for 2020 at the Automation Awards. "The numerous awards confirm our sustainable development work for the automation industry. Our goal for next year? To maintain the high level of success," says Metzger sportsmanlike.
